A very well spread property with nice and cozy rooms and very tasty morning breakfast. The valley view is stunning, try opting for a valley view room, the management is very helpful and courteous. Overall a great weekend getaway!

I was there with my family - 2 small kids. we stayed in valley facing room and the room had 2 little steps. The hotel sent the housekeeping guys to place a temporary wooden plank to stop kid from falling from the steps.
It was such a kind gesture and so thoughtful of them to worry about my kids. It shows the level of commitment and dedicated service. Special thanks to Chaitali. She was smiling always ready to help 24*7. people like them make stay more memorable and wanting us to go back over and again.

As the review suggests the stay was excellent. Got the hospitality that was expected from a property of repute like Dukes. The entire team specially front office and F&B was great which supplements the great weather & view at Dukes.

Had stayed at the Dukes Retreat from 22 - 24 Jun 2013;it was a great experience all through. The hotel is located in Khandala which suited us well as we did not want to stay in Lonavala which gets very crowded on the week-ends. The ambience of the hotel and the rooms was great. We stayed in the comfortable spacious Executive Room which was valley facing and trust me we enjoyed such breathtaking views of the misty valley that we felt we were almost one with nature. The coffee maker in the room was just perfect; could sip hot coffee in the morning lazing in the bed by the window side. The food at the hotel was excellent...there was a wide spread of buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner on all the days. All the staff across the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful and always rendered service 'with a Smile" which is very hard to find these days in the hospitality industry. Special mention here of Ms Jhelun and Mr. Ravishekhar from the frontdesk and Mr. Jinu fro the Restaurant. All this alongwith the lovely bracing weather was a perfect recipe for a short week-end getaway. Would certainly want to stay at the hotel again!

Stayed at the hotel while attending my niece's wedding there. This retreat is 1.5 to 2 hours from the bustling city of Mumbai. It is also tucked away on a hillside offering peace and serenity. The views are breathtaking. We had booked an Executive room and it was very spacious and equipped with all the modern amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend the place to anyone

Being at the Right Place at the Right Time the right place was obviously the prime location of The Dukes Retreat and the Right time was first week of Aug when the monsoons are full blown in this region. The resort is located right on the top of the cliff with a breathtaking view. Huge deluxe room are perfect for family with magnificent views. We went for business conference and had a wonderful time with the whole team. Food is perfect and with a huge spread almost 12 items apart from the salads, soups, deserts and all with taste.
